What you are seeing
At the top you can enter an APE amount for a USD estimate; charts directly under that show daily APE/USD closes from the CryptoCompare public API. They answer two different time horizons:
- Last 30 days — short-term volatility and recent trend.
- Last 90 days — wider context: are we in a range, a grind higher/lower, or a sharp move?
This is not trading advice. Prices reflect aggregated market activity; your exchange, region, and timing can differ slightly from any index.
Quote toggle (APE/USD vs USD/APE)
Use the APE/USD / USD/APE control in the Live market snapshot (below the charts):
- APE/USD — dollars per one APE (the usual “price of APE in USD”).
- USD/APE — how many APE one US dollar buys (the inverse rate). The shape of the chart is different because the Y-axis is inverted; percentage changes vs 30d/90d ago stay the same.
How to read the numbers
- Current reference price — used for the calculator; comes from a live APE→USD quote endpoint (shown in the snapshot under the charts).
- Change vs 30 / 90 days ago — compares today’s reference to the daily close of the bar that is 30 days back (or 90 days back) in the series. It is a simple historical comparison, not a guarantee of future performance.
Wallet calculator (read-only)
The APE field is at the top of the page. The page multiplies that amount by the current USD reference price once data loads. It does not connect to a wallet, sign transactions, or see your keys — it is a simple arithmetic helper only.
Data source: CryptoCompare (histoday + price). If the API is rate-limited or blocked, charts may fail to load — refresh later.
